We teach from who we are. Even though we don't always realize that we operate our schools, classrooms, and organizations with the beliefs we have about ourselves — we do. There are many things that happen in our classrooms and workplaces that we were not prepared to deal with. Most likely we have had trauma in our own lives. We then have students and staff each with their own trauma.

Our job as educators is to ensure these children have all the core skills and concepts for their grade level — or to ensure our staff is functioning at their top capacity. Educating or working with people can become extremely difficult when you are tackling belief systems that say "I'm not worthy, I can't do this, I'm not smart!"

Creating an environment of awareness of our own personal beliefs, and of our students', community's, and organization's beliefs, becomes the foundation from which we build a classroom — or an organization — of WORTH.

Drawn from lived experience

Dr. Jeannine Metzger draws from her own experience with childhood sexual and physical abuse, and her almost three decades of education experience. She speaks on how to build awareness of personal beliefs, as well as organizational beliefs. She shows just exactly how the words we use can build or tear down ourselves and others — how to plan for the successful organization, school, or classroom that you want to have, and much more.

She provides first-hand accounts of experiences that have built her, and that she uses today as a principal in her own school.

One of my primary responsibilities is to create a safe environment for participants to take a deep dive to learn about the belief systems they carry — and how to design a workplace that supports their WORTH.

Sessions are designed to provide substantive content in a highly interactive learning environment. I work with clients to develop creative ways to be intentional in building their worth, and the worth of others, every day through highly effective instructor-led training.

Begin with the end in mind

Solutions can range from one-day trainings to three-day workshops. I begin with the end in mind — what is it that you want this training to achieve? What is it that you want the participants to learn and/or do differently? I then build the course that will achieve your objectives.

It is my intent to preserve and respect the richness of each person, and their development as they learn about the richness of others they work with.

From surviving to thriving

It is therefore my goal to help bridge the gap of just surviving in this world of work to one of thriving — because we are all WORTHY.

Mission

"To build a safe and loving platform for people of diverse cultures to share perceptions, and to build relationship bridges through innovative solutions via expert educational advice for school districts, educational agencies, and diverse communities — to benefit all students and families."
